The healthcare condition of GMC General Surgeon Doctor Sayeed Rahul is stable and still at isolation ward for examination. The bloodtest which sent for testing will available in the evening hours and accordingly,  we will provide the exact information about the symptoms," GMC&H Bakshi nagar Jammu Medical Superintendent Dr Dara Singh revealed media.

On March 23, a Government Medical College (GMC) Registrar General Surgeon Doctor Sayeed Rahil on Monday at 8 PM is admitted in GMC's Isolation Ward established for Coronavirus victims after he was complaining throat pain and breathing problems while attending the patients in the hospital.

"Dr Sayeed Rahil is admitted in the Isolation cum quarantine Ward of the hospital. His blood sample has been sent for testing in view of Coronavirus like symptoms," said a member of Resident Doctors Association, GMC& Hospital Bakshi nagar, Jammu.

"This incident is happening due to callous attitude ofHospital management for failing in providing N95 Masks and PPE Kits to theDoctors serving in the hospital since Coronavirus outbreaks in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir," he alleged.

He added that we have already intimated the hospital management pertaining shortage and requirements for doctors including paramedical and other medical staff due to which such like incident is happening in the hospital. Mean while, the hospital association members are going to serve 12 hours ultimatum to hospital management on Tuesday, otherwise , we will  suspend our services in the GMC hospital from Wednesday if shortage of N95 Masks and related PPE Kits are not providing to doctors including Paramedical staff keeping in view spreading of Coronavirus.
